 WHAT IS INFORMATION SYSTEM (IS)?

• All the components and resources necessary to deliver information and functions to the organization.
• It could be paper based.

WHAT IS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)?

•  IT is the branch of engineering that deals with the use of computers and telecommunications to retrieve and store and transmit information.

 WHAT DIFFERENT BETWEEN IS AND IT?

• Communication networks
• Data resources                         
• Policies
• Procedures 

* IS functions : To stores, retrieves, transforms, and disseminates information in an organization.
